SCCYP became my life in 2002 after a short time volunteering, I became a manager to oversee the play scheme and adult activities , I am happy to give my time to the local community.

I have been managing the project with Susan since 2002 and although challenging at times (securing funding is getting harder with each year) I love my job. I am also the company secretary.

Michelle Duncalf - Play worker

Starting as a volunter play worker when my oldest was only 5 years old, since 2023 I have been working at SCCYP and my 8 year old granddaughter also attends.

Anita Stoddart - Play worker / one to one support

Hello I'm Anita and I have worked for SCCYP since 2023. I have developed new skills and have met incredible people. My children loved joining SCCYP to, they've had so many new experiences and learnt so much. This is such a wonderful charity that does fabulous things for our local community I am so thrilled to be a part of this fabulous team.

Joanne Heaps - Volunteer Play worker

Hi my name is Joanne and I have volunteered at SCCYP since 2019. I love coming to club and my child comes here too and we love all the activities they do for the children and also the adults activities. I also volunteer during the eat to greet lunches which is amazing for the adults, its a lovely friendly place with an amazing staff team.
